Skin Care Routine

Before I moved to Utah, I had a very specific skin care routine that worked for me while living in Charleston. Within the first week of me living in Utah, my skin completely changed. I had really dry flakey skin, which was completely new to me. I was in desperate need of a new skin care routine and tried so many different products. There were a few products that worked but I did not LOVE them.

I finally found something that worked!!!!

A few weeks ago, I took the Skin Care test by Glossier. I had been wanting to try Glossier’s products but shopping online for skin care products has always been a little scary. After taking the skin care test online I purchased the products it recommended for me. It’s been about 2 weeks and I can already tell a difference in my skin!!! I absolutely love the products, the way they feel and the packaging is great. Below I have reviewed each product. I definitely encourage others to take the skin care test first before buying products based off of my review.

Milk Jelly Cleanser

I love this cleanser. I use about 2 pumps and cover my face with the cleanser. I then use cooler water to rinse the cleanser off. It rinses right off and does not take any scrubbing. I love the way my face feels after this cleaner. It feels like I do not even need to follow with anything! 

Solution

Before I started using this solution, I used the Thayer’s Lemon Witch Hazel. I loved it and did not feel like I needed to change that part of my routine but I wanted to stick to one brand and got exfoliating skin perfector. I use it every 2 days and I apply it with a cotton pad after I cleanse my face. It has helped me with my minor breakouts. 

Super Glow

My main concern this year is brightening my face before the wedding. I want to have a natural glow, which I used to have, but this Utah air is fighting against that. But so far I have seen a difference in my glow after using this product for 2 weeks. I apply a drop on my cheeks and forehead and then massage it throughout my face. Feels very smooth and not grainy. 

Priming Moisturizer

I really wish I had something bad, because it feels like I am selling something, but once again this product is also AMAZING. I have never had a moisturizer has good as this one. A little goes a long a way. I also do not feel oily or caked up with this moisturizer. The area around my nose is usually a little flaky, but this has done the trick! 

Invisible Shield

I do not have much to say about this product, besides the fact that it is very smooth and light weight. I do not usually wear sunscreen, which is not a good thing, but I just never thought about it. Interested to see how this helps within my skin routine. 

Futuredew

Okay, so this amazing product here is like the best thing ever. I received a sample of it in my order and then while I was in LA I went to the glossier store and purchased the bottle. I love the way it makes my skin look without adding makeup. It gives it a really natural dewy glow. LOOOOVEEE IT!
